Chesapeake Environmental Communications (CEC)

Develops science-based visuals, content, and projects that make coastal data and science accessible for decision-making at all levels. CEC is located in the Chesapeake Bay area, but works around the world creating science-based solutions for community organizations, non-profits, government and corporate clients.

Friends of the Rappahannock (FOR)

A grass roots, conservation organization that started work in the Rappahannock River watershed in 1985. With a focus on advocacy, education and restoration, FOR has river protection projects that span from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Chesapeake Bay.

Northern Neck Soil & Water Conservation District (NNSWCD)

The Northern Neck Soil & Water Conservation District is a Virginia entity funded by federal, state and county appropriations and private grants. Their mission is to promote the stewardship of natural resources through leadership, education and technical assistance for all resource users, and to engender a trusted relationship between the District and these users.

Kimberly Cape Charles

Kimberly R. Abe, architectural historian, artist, & naturalist, has channeled her passions into the creation of Kimberly Cape Charles fabric and wallpaper designs. Her first line celebrates Chesapeake Bay workboats, canines, and historic buildings. The company donates 10% of its profits to conservation and preservation organizations and offers custom hand-drawn designs for non-profit fund-raising opportunities.
