Union of Concerned Scientists New Report

July 21, 2017 ~ The Union of Concerned Scientists has released a new report titled “When Rising Seas Hit Home – Hard Choices Ahead for Hundreds of US Coastal Communities”.  The report focuses on the chronic inundations from flooding from sea level rise that is currently being experienced by many US communities, and includes projections for future permanent inundation.  The report also urges communities to plan now, rather than waiting until flooding becomes a major problem.  Click here to read the full report.
